C'est fou quand même, je change mes lunettes pour des verres de contact juste pour une journée, et 2 personnes sur 3 ne me reconnaissent plus.

A month since I came back... already?
It's pretty cool to rediscover home I have to say, there's so much stuff I'd forgotten, so much stuff I'd never noticed before. Here's a quick list of things that have struck me over the past few weeks:
- French!!
- Where have all the Lawsons gone??
- Some serious cleavage situation going on here, I'm telling you.
- One hand up in the air for people who wear shoes that actually fit them.
- Montreal's beautiful, really is.
- Another hand up in the air for cultural diversity! (And international food.) (And North-African hotties.)
- Skateboards?!
- 30 degrees on a hot day. Aaahhhhhh.
- Late August and the leaves are already starting to change colours. Hmm.
- A third hand up in the air for the ABSENCE OF KITTY-CHAN!!!
- Cycle paths, everywhere. Love.
- When people wanna tell you to F off, well, they just do.
- A fourth hand up in the air for proper beer! (I'm like Vishnu when it comes to cheering.)
- A fifth hand up in the air for guys wearing tight shorts on their bikes.
- And finally, a sixth hand up in the air for cheese that doesn't come in a tin, wine that doesn't come in a carton, and coffee that comes with taste.
Don't get me wrong, I miss Japan.
But home's home and home's great. Never waste a honeymoon phase.
